The Carbide "Corn" Drill Bit is a professional tool designed for the fast and controlled removal of artificial coatings in manicures and pedicures. Thanks to the specialized geometry of its flutes, it effectively cuts through gel polish, gel, and acrylic without excessive pressure on the nail plate, reducing strain on the technician's hand and shortening procedure time.
The "corn" shape features a safety tip, allowing for precise work in the nail folds, easy correction, and a minimized risk of injuring the nail plate. Made from tungsten carbide, this bit is highly wear-resistant, does not overheat during operation, and maintains its cutting efficiency for 2 to 6 months, even with intensive use.
Work features
The drill bit operates by shaving the material off rather than grinding it, which prevents excessive dust and overheating. When used at the correct angle and recommended speed, it ensures even and safe removal of the coating without damaging the natural nail. The grit level should be selected based on the technician's experience and the type of material being removed.
Grit levels:
- red — soft (recommended for technicians with limited experience);
- green — coarse (for experienced technicians who are proficient with the nail drill).
Applications:
- removal of artificial coatings;
- nail correction;
- removal of calluses in pedicures.
Material: Tungsten carbide, which provides high wear resistance and does not heat up during material removal. Service life under intensive use is 2 to 6 months.
Maintenance and care:
- Mechanical cleaning: After each use, clean with a special brush.
- Disinfection: Soak in a specialized solution for burs and bits or use an ultrasonic cleaner.
- Concentration: Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for disinfectant concentration. Excessive concentration can damage the bit’s surface.
Only completely dry drill bits should be sterilized in a dry heat sterilizer at a temperature not exceeding 180°C. For professional use only. Store drill bits in a dry place.
The "Corn" bit is a reliable choice for professionals who value speed, control, and safety. Proper grit selection and adherence to maintenance rules guarantee a long tool life. The instrument provides predictable results and ensures client comfort during the procedure.
